Yaoi

So, you're here to find out what yaoi is huh? Well, it's basically homosexual relationships. I tend to use it to classify all homosexual stuff, but that's not really correct. It's just me. So here's the definition for several of the different words associated with writings that have homosexuals. They're from the Writers University's Dictionary.

M/M - stands for male/male. This designation means that the piece will include a romantic or sexual relationship between two men.
F/F - stands for female/female. This designation means that the piece will include a romantic or sexual relationship between two women.
Yaoi - A m/m piece that has a graphic sex scene in it. This term refers to anime.
Yuri - A f/f romance piece that has kissing and light petting. Yuri translates to mean Lily.
Shonen ai - A piece that has a m/m or boy/boy sex scene that is less graphic than a yaoi. A Shonen piece normally includes heavy petting and kissing.
Shoujo ai - A f/f romance piece that has kissing and light petting.
Slash - A piece with the central theme, plot or characterizations involving a romantic relationship between two members of the same sex.

I think that's about it. So, if you're interested, you can go back to main page and continue to explore. If that's not your thing, either avoid anything labelled with any of the above terms or go elsewhere. Enjoy whichever you choose!!
